Puyallup is bordered by the unincorporated Pierce County. Downtown Puyallup has several landmarks. This includes the Ezra Meeker’s Mansion, which was built by one of the town’s founder’s family, who made their way to the town of Puyallup through the Oregon Trail. The downtown is made up of historic buildings, which dates the town’s origin. The focal point of the community is the Pioneer Park, boasting its public library, park with playground and walk paths. At this point of the park stands the bronze statue honoring Ezra Meeker.
